My facebook friend Mukund Marulkar is a huge fan of Shankar-Jaikishan and is always posting interesting stuff about them. Recently I saw a photo by him where it was declared that SJ were going to be the music directors of the above film. I am not sure what happened, in the end they were not at all mentioned in the credits.

Here is the photo, thanks to Mukund Marulkar and, screen caps from the DVD of the film. We can see the Indian cast members and crew, Interesting to see Ellis R Dungan mentioned. The music is by Ken Jones.

In the previous post, I wrote about the actor Amarnath. As usual, Arunkumar Deshmukh wrote about many different Amarnaths. This info is also avaiable in his book on the subject.

Posting a picture of Pandit Amarnath who gave music for Garam Coat (1955). The picture is from a book written by him on his guru, Ustad Amir Khan.

Of course, he is different from the earlier music director of the same name who gave music to films like Mirza Sahiban (1947).
