In the credits of the film Salam Mem Sahib (1961) a name Meena is written. On watching the film, I realized that it is Meena Fernandez. She may be seen in the song, 'Zaraa See Baat Pyaar Kee'. However, if you look in IMDB, they declare her to be Meena T or Talpade!

I was in grade 10 when this film came out. I was not allowed to see films so I had to watch them during school hours. Saw only 3-4 films  a year. This one did not make the cut. Saw it yesterday for the songs and any other interesting info.

During the club song, 'Kahnaa Meraa Aaj Maan Le', Nazi is singing and we see the back of a man. He suddenly turns and we see Mehmood, a surprise guest, only seen here, not mentioned anywhere.

Of course, he is going into the filmography and the song picturization information!

I am watching Hindi films from Volume 4 of HFGK (1961-1970) for Song Picturization info. Trying to get as many Junior Artists and Background Dancers as I can. Sometimes I am surprised to see famous people totally uncredited anywhere. I saw Rajendra Kumar and Memood in two famous films, their names appearing nowhere!

Today I want to talk about Edwina whom I saw sitting in the song 'Main Ghar Se Bhaag Aayaa Hoon' from Reshmi Roomal (1961). Maruti throws a hat that falls on Edwina's head.

So now the number of films she has appeared in is one more than before, 113.
