This is not the Certification date, which is available on the Database Website and in two books, and, of course, in the Hindi Film Geet Kosh volumes.

The release information, ie film, date and place of first release is very important. This book has the information about films released in 1944, charting their course throughout the year. .

How many times have you wanted to know how the actors in old movies looked like? Of course, we are all familiar with the famous ones, Saigal, Ashok Kumar, Lila Chitnis, Madhubala. But how about many others whose names appear in the film cast and filmographies, particularly junior artists and background dancers? This book is an attempt put faces to their names. In this book, number 8 in this series, we have 63 Hindi films from 1954-55, whose videos are in our collection and captured about 1,730 pictures of the cast.
