My father used to subscribe to Sangeet Magazine (from Hathras). I inherited all the issues from 1935 to 1970. Sadly, a lot of issues were missing, probably borrowed and never returned. So, I ordered the missing issues from Sangeet Karyalaya Hathras. The cost of mailing was more than the issue cost, I got them at about $150 for 12 issues.

Imagine my surprise when I opened the November 1954 issue. There was a four page article on the famous saxophonist Ram Singh, assistant to Anil Biswas and others, based on an interview with him!

I have had the following photo with me since May 2006. I have no idea how I obtained it.

It shows Naushad and Gurudutt having bagged a tiger in the jungles of Madhya Pradesh. Looks like the photo was given to the editors of Bhaskar by a Khandwa photographer. The hunt may have happened around 1956. Photo does not say who the others are.
