In the film CID (!956) that was shown on the big screen in India, Vibhendu noticed this
Obviously captured in a Cinema Hall. There are names of the crew from the film on the board on the well, eg OP Nayyar, Abrar Alvi.
Then Sapan Oza noticed the same thing, brought to our attention by Balaji Vittal.
I was curious to see what these guys had done. I captured this from the film
Turns out these are officers assigned to cases and their progress etc. I could not find Inspector Shekhar's name.

He is the director of Fariyad (1964), another film as his son Ashok as hero. He appears just before a song, in the audience.
Another example of a director showing up in his movie.
His previous appearance was as a hero with Madhubala in Neki Aur Badi (1949).
