If you have been visiting the Database Website, you may have noticed that we have been adding Volume III (1951-1960) filmography information.
We are happy to report that it is complete for now. [The Song picturization information for this decade, about 3,500 songs, is also being readied, will be up soon.]
If one compares the information with the published volume HFGK V III (Edition Second, April 1997), these changes will be apparent.
1. 'Hamraaz' has been receiving additions and corrections from people all over the world, they are included.
2. We have watched about 450 film videos that we have, to look for uncredited cast members, information from those have been added.
3. Upendra Samaranayake has published two books on Junior Artist filmographies, that information has been added.
4. Edwina has published a book on her co-dancers, information from that has been added.

Background dancer.
I always wanted to know about the two dancers in the famous song from Pakeeza, 'Chalte Chalte'.
Thanks to Edwina, I learnt to recognize Chanda somewhat. More help was given by Sudarshan Talwar. Finally Meenaxi was identified by Dr Ramnath Iyer. The color image was enhanced by Mr Talwar.
