Originally we had no plans to publish books based on the Hindi Film Geet Kosh Database Website. But some friends insisted that we do. So we started publishing books based on the information in the database. Frankly, there is nothing new in the books, all the info is already on the website. In addition, books probably are never going to be revised whereas the database is updated as soon as I receive new information, e g the recent Sabita Chatterjee case. Be that as it may, books have been published and will continue to be published.
Inadvertently, the book prices were not fixed properly and that led to some complaints. The problem has been corrected. The new prices are as below.

Many times I peruse old Hollywood magazine to see if they have something interesting about India. I usually find something.
Yesterday I found out about Lal Chand Mehra, a highly educated man who wrote Hindustani titles for King Of Kings (1927, silent) and then became a technical advisor.
