Dr Helen Abazdi wrote an article about Indian films conquering Greece in the 50s and 60s. Later they even made films influenced by them and their singers emulated the Indians. She wroye a book the topic too. Here are some Greek posters from her article

Here is another great songs from Duniya Na Mane (1937). Vasanti sings a patriotic song after being prodded by Shanta Apte. For accompaniment, she uses whatever stuff is nearby, various pots and pans. If somebody tells you that so-and-so introduced hitting random objects to make music in the 50s or 70s, please do the needful and send them here.
