Waseem Raza, PhD

Atiya Fyzee Rahamin (1877-1967) was a multi-talented lady from the Indian Subcontinent. She was born in Istanbul and raised in colonial Bombay was an extraordinary woman of her time.
She was one of the first elite Indian Muslim women to receive a modern education, appear in public unveiled and participate in women's organizations.
Noted for her intellectualism, she was a cultural icon - not least on account of her friendships with two of South Asia’s prominent Muslim intellectuals Maulana Shibli Numani and Allama Iqbal.
Her partnership with her husband, artist and writer Samuel Rahamin also earned the couple international acclaim in fields of music, dance, visual arts, theatre, and literature.
This book will appeal to scholars and students interested in travel narratives, gender studies, Urdu literature as well as modern history of India and Pakistan.

RMIM Articles 7: Pakistani Films

Compiler: Prof Surjit Singh

As I have mentioned before, classic RMIMers ran many series for many years, there content generated at least 6,000 pages.

I had thought of compiling a big book, but considering the sheer size of the work wrote a Minibus on the 25th anniversary.

Now I am coming back to compiling books on different series.

[I think it will take about 20 books of about 300 pages each to do the job properly.]

Paperback, 6 by 9 in, 136 pages.
