Like most people I have been assuming that this Bimal Roy is the well-know Bimal Roy of Bandini and Devdas.

Recently, I was informed by Anirudh Bhattacharjee that this is not so.

He shared an email exchange with Rinky Roy (from 2013) in which she clarified that this was a different man, an editor working in Bombay.

When I was preparing the picturization of the database from 1961 to 1970 Hindi Film songs, I saw Subhash Ghai in the song Aiye Bahar Ko Ham Bant Len from Taqdeer (1967).

I did not see him in the credits so I put it down as uncredited appearance.

Recently Dr Ramnath Iyer pointed out that he acted in early films with the name Ajay. This was new information for me and I have now incorporated it in the database.
