In my book on Edwina Violette, which is available to read on my website,
Edwina Violette Book
I made a mistake about her appearance in the famous song from Teesri Manzil. I said that she is lying in the crescent moon. This mistake was copied into her filmography on IMDB

However, later I found out that I was wrong and corrected myself in the Errata also published on my website

This reminds me of two Hindi expressions about blatant copying,
makkhee pe makkhee maaranaa (= You copy the text, see a dead fly on the text, find a dead fly and paste it on to the copy)
naql ke liye aql chaahiye (= Even for the process of merely copying, you need some brains)

From the book Film Industry in India 1913-1963 by BK Adarsh.
Unfortunately the beginning and end dates are not given, only the number of weeks and earnings.
I was in the last year of the Higher Secondary school and saw only
Anari (twice), Jali Note (twice), Zabak (twice), Kala Bazar (twice), Dil Deke Dekho (twice), Milan (once), Samrat Chandragupt (once with my father).
Notice one Pakistani film, I do not remember it being in Ludhiana at all.
