I knew about Shankar (of Shankar-Jaikishan) marriage from what I read in Vishwas Nerurkar's book on the duo. About Shankar he wrote,

"Family Life: Around 1953, Shankar married a lady called Kunda. They had no issue."

Recently I posted a news item where Shankar mentioned himself as being married. See

Thereupon a Facebook friend remarked, Was Shankar married?
