In 1936, All India Radio started to publish a magazine containing feature articles and a program guide for all the stations. It was called The Indian Listener. Here is the program guide for the Bombay station for Saturday, Jan 25, 1936. I have no doubt that the Shamshadbai shown here is non other than Saira Bano's maternal grandmother, of course, not to be confused with Shamshad Begum from Lahore.

First, the titalee song that I mentioned earlier was briefly sung by Kishore Kumar in Krorepati (1961). How do I know that? Like many other crazy fans of films, I also notice the smallest things and write down. Today's song has the same tune as the Pankaj Mullick sharaabee song from Mukti (1937).
