Bharat 48 lata Shyam Sunder

A famous poet and Hindi lyricist saw Indrasabha as a child and he memorized the whole film. He never forgot it and used to recite it to his filmi friends. Prakash Pandit writes in his biography of Sahir. The original is in Hindi, the translation by a blogger

Usually it is believed that the song 'tum rooTh ke mat jaana' is the first example of the Panjabi folk form called Tappa. I found this one from 1941. There may be others.
