At present three people (Ajit Sidhu, N Ramaswamy and Shefali Gandhi) are involved in cataloging the RELEASE information of films in Bombay in the 30s and 40s. This is not the Certification date, which is available on the Database Website and in two books, and, of course, in the Hindi Film Geet Kosh volumes.

The release information, ie film, date and place of first release is very important. This book has the information about films released in 1944, charting their course throughout the year. .
