Har Mandir Singh 'Hamraaz' and I are happy to report that the work of amending, updating and checking of the Hindi Film Geet Kosh Volume I (1931-1940) has been completed, for now. This a major update since September 1988 when the First Edition of this volume was published (almost 36 years ago!) and incorporates all the information available to us as of now.

At this time, we have updated the Censor Certificate Information. Here is a summary of the new information added.

• The exact censor certificate date was missing, it has been provided.
• Many items such as Production company was missing or incomplete, it has been updated.
• Re-certification information of Hindi films has been added.
• Certification information of the same film in different centers has been added.
• Certification and re-certification information of the other language versions of the Hindi films has been provided.
• The other languages are Marathi, Bangla, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil etc.

Updated information about the Filmography and Songs will follow in due course.
