V2.0 has the following features:

Production company, producer, director, lyricist, music director, assistant music director, subject, music company, junior artists and background dancers, any other relevant information, censor certificate information and film release information in  Bombay (this part only up to 1937 at present).

First lines of all the songs, lyricist, music director,  singers, record numbers and other media info.

Picturization information including main people and also people sitting in the background or dancing.

All of these items are clickable and if you click on any item, you get a list of films and then clicking on each film, all the above information for that film is displayed.

For about 1,600 people their images are shown, we are still working on to put more photos in. Most of the photos we have put in so far are for 30s and 40s, are very rare and not found on anywhere else..

Simple search is available where you can type anything. For example if you type 'dil', you get a list of all the films where this word occurs, names of cast and crew with this word, and list of all the songs with 'dil'.

Advanced search is where you can combine quite a lot of information together. For example you can get a list of songs in which Dev Anand is present but not singing and the song is by Asha Bhosle.

I started working on it March 15, 2026 and finished yesterday. Right now I am busy adding the next decade on my local PC before I send it to the website.
