Hindi Film Geet Kosh or Encyclopedia of Hindi Films and Songs is a series of books in Hindi written by Har Mandir Singh 'Hamraaz'. It contains information about film censored between 1931 to 1986.Iit has the information that you see on censor certificate. It also includes films that were just announced or films that were partially complete and abandoned, or films that were actually completed but never shown. It has information about all the actors including animals and cars etc. It also has production information like producer, director, music director, lyricists and singers. Then it has a list of all the songs with the names of singers, lyricists, music directors and 78 RPM record numbers, and microgroove information. Comments contain an extra information about the film, many interesting items, or assistant director, story writer, dialog writer etc.
