My dear friend and collaborator Gurcharan passed away two years ago. When I am working on the database project, I always thankfully remember how much he contributed to the Geet Kosh project. When 'Hamraaz' was working on HFGK volume III (1951 to 1960), he visited Kanpur many times from the UK, stayed for months, and, freely shared his data about his records. cassette and CDs, and his notes that he had been writing on the first edition of volume III. 

In fact his contribution was so much that his name was happily added as an associate in the second edition. Here is the front cover and his picture from 2022.
